Cordobes Peruvian Paso colic issue

Equine Sports Massage Therapy for Colic . Cordobes is an 8 year old gelding.  He was massaged on a regular basis for 3 years every other month. Cordobes had been shown by his previous owner, but the owner I worked for was only doing trail rides .  Cordobes did not have any chronic issues to help and his massages were geared to prevent injuries and keep him sound.  One summer we found him in a colic state and the Vet was called immediately.  While waiting for the Vet to arrive, I applied massage and acupressure along the meridians and their respective points which influence stomach, intestines etc….  The results were amazing and certainly helped alleviate the horse’s pain until the Vet arrived.  Southern Florida is hard on horses for colic from sand and heat so it was great to have an avenue to assist with his situation.  After this I applied the same meridian therapy with my massage session for Cordobes and he did not colic again.  Equine Sports Massage Therapy is an  adjunct to proper Veterinarian care.  Learn this application along with many others from Deborah at one of  Equitherapies clinics.
